- Location (optional): City and country for the world map feature, only if you choose to provide it
- Payment information: Processed entirely by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details
We also collect standard technical information such as browser type, device type, and how you found our site. This helps us understand how people use Petmoria and where we can improve.
Community features: When visitors interact with tribute pages, we collect:
- Guestbook messages: Author name and message text (IP hash used for rate limiting)
- Reactions: Anonymous reaction counts (IP hash used to allow toggling, not stored as personal data)
How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to:
- Display your pet's celebration on the mural
- Process your payment securely through Stripe
- Send you a confirmation email with your receipt
- Show your pet's location on the world map, if you opted in
- Contact you if there is an issue with your submission
- Improve Petmoria based on usage patterns

Here is what is shared and with whom:
- On the mural: Your pet's name, photo, and story are publicly visible
- On the world map: General location only, if you provided it
